The shrieks had been bad enough. This is worse. A horrific howl, as of something dying that should never have been in the first place.
The tentacles begin trembling, then flailing wildly in a seizure, as the central body of the thing shudders violently.
A flood of Oil begins gushing out from its center, a solid pool of it flowing right up to the threshold of Milliways.... and then coming to a halt barely an inch before it.
Quiet comes over the armory again, and now there is only the sound of that low rumbling.... except, it doesn't sound quite so low anymore....
