Ryan started getting out one of the concussion grenades he grabbed earlier almost as soon as the infected agents started talking. Calmly, he announces "Fire in the hole!" as he removes the pin and tosses the grenade towards the centre of the shooting gallery.
He puts his back towards the door and steps away from the opening while placing the Deatomizer on one of the consoles. Then he twists the XT from off his back and flicks off the safety.
Fuck, that was loud! Thrice damned hearing. Once he's recovered from the noise, he's going to start firing the XT at anything that moves in the other room.
