Bill starts firing when the others do, stepping up to get closer to Suzi incase anything gets past Ryan. Although the guy really looks like he knows what he's doing so there shouldn't be too much worry for that.
"Suzi, these shield things work pretty great. I already been shot a few times by that robot thing out in the hall an ain't got no holes to show for it." She looks really, really scared. If here weren't busy shooting at ugly aliens he'd reach down and give her a hug or something.
